ISLAMABAD: The workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Isnaf (PTI) continued protest on Tuesday in various localities of the federal capital and blocked different roads.
According to Police sources, agitators blocked IJ Principal Road near Khayaban-i-Sir Syed and Islamabad Expressway for traffic which led to traffic jam. Heavy contingents of police were deployed in various areas of the city to thwart any untoward incident.
The police registered three cases against PTI workers for protesting after Faislabad incident where PTI workers reacted against the rejection of their party’s shut down call. No arrests have been made yet.
