ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan said his party will drop its plan to protest in Karachi on December 12 if the government constitutes the proposed Judicial Commission to investigate into the ‘rigging of elections 2013’.
While addressing the ongoing protest of his party, Imran Khan said if Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) wants to hold dialogue, so does PTI.
“The day the Judicial Commission conducts its proceedings our protest will come to an end,” he said. The JC can be formed in a matter of one day, he added.
He said if the government is really serious to end the political crisis; it should constitute the JC before the PTI protest in Karachi.
“We are aware that due to the protest, the country suffers economically but, unfortunately, no other option has been left for us,” he noted.
He said maybe the judicial commission is formed by Thursday. However, Imran Khan added that there will be no forceful closure of business in Karachi on Dec 12th.
