LAHORE: Members of National and Provincial Assemblies of various districts met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here on Saturday.
Those who called on the Chief Minister included MNAs Alam Dad Lalika, Raza Hayat Hiraj, MPs Mian Fida Hussain, Shaukat Ali Lalika, Malik Mazhar Abbas Raan and Khuram Abbas Chattah.
Talking to the members, Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that political, military, religious leadership and the entire nation was untied in the war against terrorism.
He said: “We have to win the war of survival and stability of the country at every cost.” The Chief Minister said that the goal of development and prosperity of the country cannot be achieved without peace. He said that peace was vital for the promotion of socio-economic, trade activities and investment.
Shahbaz Sharif said that decisive war against terrorists was being fought. He said that like thousands of Pakistanis, terrorists have also killed innocent children and revenge of their blood would be taken from these brutal beasts.
