BAHAWALPUR: Preparations for celebrating “Eid Milad-Un-Nabi” on 12 Rabi-ul-Awal, are in full swings here with enthusiasm, religious zeal and spirit.
The mosques, buildings and homes are being decorated with colorful lights, buntings and banners.
A rally of torch bearers will be taken out on the night of January 3 under the aegis of Dawat-e-Islami while main congregations of Eid-e-Milad will be taken out from Gulzar-e-Sadiq and Serani Mosque on January 4 which will pass through Giri Ganj Bazaar, Shahi Bazaar, Farid Gate, Circular Road, Chowk Fawara and conclude at their starting points.
Vendors have established a number of stalls at every nook and corner, offering banners, badges, stickers and flags inscribed with the slogans paying respect and reverence to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
Naat Khawani and processions to express devotion with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) will also be arranged.
