SHEIKHUPURA: Federal Minister for Production Rana Tanvir Hussain has said reduction in prices of petroleum products would provide relief to the masses.
He was addressing a public gathering after inaugurating various uplift schemes at Burj Atari on Saturday.
MPA Pir Ashraf Rasool, Hakim Saleemullah, Malik Nadeem Chohan, Malik Muhammad Ali Chohan advocate and president district journalists association Ilyas Gujjar were also present.
The minister said the federal government was endeavouring to resolve peoples problems and had taken a number of practical steps for prosperity and development of the people.
The minister said February 9 visit of Chinese president to Pakistan would help maintain peace and balance of powers in the region.
Condemning the Shikarpur tragedy, he said it was a reaction of the operation Zarb-e-Azab and implementation of the National Action Plan against terrorism.
He said the government would continue the operation till the elimination of terrorists from the country.
