ISLAMABAD: A total of 52 candidates have filed their nomination papers in the federal capital for participating in Senate elections.
An official of Election Commission told APP that Imran Ashraf, Nargis
Faiz Malik of Pakistan People Party, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Raheela Magsi, Muhammad Ashraf Gujjar, and Nargis Nasir of Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz, Shumaila, Bisma Asif and advocate Zilfiqar of Mutahidda Quomi Movement filed the papers.
43 Fata candidates have also filed their nomination papers including Molana Abdul Malik, Saeed Anwar, Malak Aslam Khan, Abdul Shahid, Abdul Raziq, Sajjad Hussain,Munir Khan Orakzai, Haji Bismillah, Muhammad Asghar, Shahid Khalid, Shah Faisal, Hafiz Rashid Ahmad, Eng Tahir Iqbal, Malak Noor Akbar, Aurangzeb Khan, Nazir Khan, Muhammad Din, Haji Khan, Momin Khan, Taj Muhammad Afridi, Syed Nawab, Shah Muhammad, Akhunzada Chattan, Abdul Qadir, Sanahullah Zehri, Habib Malak, Saifur Rehman, Abdul Malik Qadir, Idrees Khan, Zar Khan Safi, Baz Gul, Rahat Yousaf, Aurangzeb Khan, Pir Aqil Shah,Muhammad Tayyab, Malak Rashid Ahmad, Malak Nadir Khan, Qismat Khan, Muhammad Kamran, Syed Muhammad Hussain, Fazal Abbas, Mumtaz Khan and Ainuddin Shakir also filed their nomination papers.
Appeals can be filed against rejection of nominations on 20th, 21st of this month.
Appeals would be disposed of on 23rd and 24th and final list of candidates will be issued on February, 25.
