LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain apologized for using harsh words against the law enforcement agencies during his recent speeches, Aaj News reported on Tuesday.
During his speech, Altaf clearly said that his purpose was not to hurt anyone and he was sorry for any person or institution that felt upset.
Altaf went on to say that he has always respected all national institutions and he will continue to do so.
The MQM chief further compared the Baldia Town tragedy to nothing less than a ‘day of judgment scenario’.
He called for an impartial investigation by the national courts as well as agencies and book the culprits to justice.
Altaf said that the country is going through a difficult period as on one side there is the war on terror and on the other; thousands of lives are being lost in such incidents.
