SIALKOT: Pakistan and Germany enjoy tremendous bilateral trade relations and Pakistan’s exports to the European Union, particularly to Germany, has increased upto 20 percent.
Ambassador of Germany Cyrill Nunn expressed these views during his visit to the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here Wednesday.
He said ” You exports more to us” and pointed out Germany mainly exports more to other countries.
The German government was planning reciprocal visit of high-ranking business delegations to Pakistan, he added.
He said both countries had agreed to declare the Port Qasim as a free port for business purposes and the project was under process in this regard.
He said German delegations would attend Mega City Conference, being held in Karachi for investment in Pakistan.
“We will give high priority in issuing visas to the business community of Pakistan,” he added.
He appreciated the role of business community of Sialkot and said they had set a great example by constructing airport on private initiative.
