KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has assured that a compensation of Rs two million will be paid to legal heirs of each of Shikarpur bomb blast martyrs while Rs 0.2 million will be provided to each injured in the incident.
This he said while talking to a delegation of an Ulema Council, at a meeting held here on Monday.
In this context, the Chief Minister formed a two- member committee comprising his Special Assistants Rashid Rabbani and Waqar Mehdi for providing government jobs to those who became disabled to earn.
He informed that three different investigation teams are investigating the incident and said that very important clues have been detected about the crime and shortly the culprits would be apprehended.
The Chief Minister informed that the list of legal heirs of 63 martyred and 73 injured in Shikarpur blast has been completed and the compensation cheques are ready which will be handed over this week.
The delegation led by Allama Muhammad Baqir Najafi comprised Allama Shabir Hassan Mesmi, Allama Shahanshah Hussain Naqvi, Allama Riaz Hussain Al- Hussainee, Allama Jaffar Ali Subhani, Syed Hasnain Mehdi and Syed Ali Muhammad Bukhari which apprised the Chief Minister about the problems being faced by the families of the blast victims.
