Corps Commander Conference on Tuesday focused on effective implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) in co-ordination with federal and provincial governments to eliminate the menace of terrorism, extremism and sectarianism from the country once and for all. The military spokesman twitted that the conference focused on the effective implementation of the NAP which had been designed to combat terrorism after the Peshawar school attack.
The plan is a joint and well-co-ordinated effort between federal and provincial governments for eliminating terrorism, extremism and sectarianism without any discrimination. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the participants also reviewed internal and external security situation as well as discussed matters of professional interest. The matters related to the situation on the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary (WB) also came under discussion.
