SYDNEY: In the World Cup warm-up match being played between Bangladesh and Pakistan, Bangladesh set a 247 run target for Pakistan here on Monday.
Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first, Mohammad Irfan was the pick of the Pakistani bowlers claimed five wickets.
Tamim Iqbal (81) and Mahmudullah (83) put up a third wicket partnership of 168 runs for Bangladesh.
Yasir Shah picked up two wickets for Pakistan while Sohail Khan and Wahab Riaz claimed one wicket each.
The Pakistan team has been hit by another injury scare as fast bowler Sohail Khan was sidelined during the match because of a calf injury.
The team has already had two other players being replaced from the original squad due to injuries. Rahat Ali replaced Junaid Khan and Mohammad Hafeez was replaced by Nasir Jamshed.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan will begin its World Cup campaign on Sunday in a match against India.
