WASHINGTON: USCENTCOM (United States central command) has said that the US and Pakistan will administrate a joint military activity from this autumn, Aaj News Reported.
The combine exercises may begin from October of this year. It will cover the wide range of military operation i.e air, land, sea and special operations.
Seminars will be conducted, covering the important topics like counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, civil military cooperation and intelligence. The officials from both countries were present at the Macdill Air Force Base in Florida this month.
According to the reports, Rear Adm. Ahmed Saeed, director general of the Pakistan military joint war fighting and training, represented Pakistan while US was represented by Maj.Gen. Steven Busby, US central commands director of strategy, plans and policy.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the 24th US-Pakistan military committee which is formed to review the military to military engagements and activities between the two countries.
