Wellington, NEW ZEALAND: The favourites New Zealand have won the quarter-final match against the West Indies on Saturday.
New Zealand have won by 143 runs and will meet South Africa in the semi-final on Tuesday March 24.
Martin Guptill has scored a massive unbeaten 237 off 163 balls with the help of 11 sixes and 24 fours.
It’s the highest World Cup score ever and the highest ODI score by a New Zealander.
Guptill got the “Man of the match” award.
It was the 2nd double hundred in this Cricket World Cup 2015 campaign. Similarly, the spartan Chris Gayle had already scored 216 runs off 164 balls against the Zimbabwe in a group match.
West Indies all out for 250 runs in 30.3 overs and out of the tournament.
