SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah on Sunday said that the government should take parliament into confidence before taking any decision on the Yemen issue.
Talking to the media here, he said although Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed brotherly relations however, the former itself is in a state of war.
He lauded the government`s efforts to ensure safe return of Pakistani citizens stranded in the troubled state.
He claimed that Imran Khan was not a matured politician and he was in the habit of changing his statnce every now and then.
His policy of clash with the government could lead to instability in the country, he added.
He pointed out that after the general election Imran had expressed his liking for PML-N which let it form a government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but now he had turned against it.
He said action against terrorists in Karachi was being carried out indiscriminately, and no political party was being targeted.
The accused apprehended from Muttahida Qaumi Movement headquarters “Nine Zero” were under custody, he said and added that the political parties should not hae armed wings.
