ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan shared his opinion regarding the ongoing US-Saudi alliance in Yemen saying that instead of joining the war Pakistan should extend his efforts to pacify the situation by acting as a major negotiator, Aaj News reported.
Imran khan tweeted, “Pakistan should be playing a lead role in negotiating/helping in peace talks rather than becoming a participant in the war”.
According to him, Pakistan has already been suffering by being a part of Wars conducted by other Countries. He also added that sectarian crisis has also been a problem for the past ten years.
Saudi Arab has targeted the Huthi Rebels in Yemen on Wednesday with the collaboration of regional allies.
According the reports, Pakistan is ready to join the fight against Huthi Rebels in Yemen. PM Nawaz Sharif also showed his love towards the Kingdom of Saudi Arab stating that any threat to Saudi Arab’s sovereignty would instigate a strong response from Pakistan.
