KARACHI: For 165 days, Na Maloom Afraad has topped the cinema houses of Karachi and Islamabad. On its release in last October it reign supreme by defeating its competition i:e Opertaion 21 and Bang Bang – the Indian version of Night and Day .
Khuda kay liye was the first movie to achieve such milestone in 2007 and now ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ is the one to achieve that. By doing 165 days of business it also dethroned Shan’s Waar which was held in the cinemas for 163 days but still Aina holds the record of longest running film ever in the Lollywood film industry with 401 weeks to its name.
Fahad Mustafa, UrwaSheikh, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Javed Sheikh and Salman Shahid were the main characters. The film was directed by Nabeel Qureshi, the story of 3 friends getting caught up in trouble with the Drug king pin of the city.
After gaining Rs 12.2 crore in the 22 weeks in Pakistan, the film is also about to be released in Australia later this year.
