KARACHI: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday said that the government was taking measures for early completion of various developmental projects to revive the country’s economy.
He was talking to various dele gations of learned dignitaries from different walks of life here at the State Guest House.
The President said that Pak-China Economic Corridor project was essential for the progress of Pakistan.
The completion of the project would not only bring about economic revolution in the country but also in the region besides generating many employment opportunities, he added.
The President called upon the nation to take measures against corruption and discourage corrupt elements.
He stressed on cleansing the institutions from corrupt practices for attaining national progress.
The President also called upon the nation to support government’s efforts in weeding out the disease of corruption.
