ISLAMABAD: A delegation consisting of Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Advisor to PM on foreign affairs Sartaj Aziz and military officials left for Kingdom of Saudia Arabia on Tuesday, Aaj News reported.
A meeting will be held between high ranking officials of Saudia and Pakistan to review the ongoing scenario in Yemen. Earlier Khawaja Asif made it clear that Pakistan will take immediate action if the territorial integrity of the Holy land is threatened.
He further stated that Pakistan wants peace among the Muslim world and would like to solve the ongoing Yemeni crisis by imitating political talks between the Houthi Rebels and Saudi Arab.
Pakistan will also ask the United Nations, OIC and International community to play a fair role so the crisis could be solved peacefully. No decision has been made to send the Pakistani Army to help out Saudi Arabia.
