HAMBURG: The Taiwan Flour Millers’ Association has issued a tender to buy 83,950 tonnes of grade 1 milling wheat to be sourced from the United States, European traders said on Friday.
Tender deadline is March 11, they said.
The wheat is sought in two consignments, with 37,650 tonnes for shipment between Apr. 28 and May 12 and 46,300 tonnes for shipment between May 15-29, they said.
In its last reported tender on Feb. 5, the Taiwanese association purchased 86,280 tonnes of milling wheat sourced from the United States after seeking offers for the same volume.
The association is a traditional buyer of U.S. wheat.
