ISLAMABAD: The next week’s visit of Chinese President will open a new era in Sino-Pak-relations, Analysts and economists said.
Speaking in Radio Pakistan News and Current Affairs Channel Programme, Minister of State for Privatization Muhammad Zubair said China will invest above $ 40 billion in Pak-China Economic Corridor projects.
In cooperation with China, Pakistan will overcome the current national challenge of energy crisis, he said adding that China will also get benefit from Pak-China Economic Corridor.
Taking Part in the debate economist Shahid Hassan Siddiqui said that China will support Pakistan to overcome energy crisis.
He said that Pakistan’s continental shelf or seawater limits have been increased and now Pakistan would have legal control over another 50,000 square kilometers of area in the Arabian Sea.
He said that Pakistan will benefit immensely with completion of Pak-China Economic Corridor.
Former Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir said that Pakistan and China have exemplary friendship and Chinese President’s visit will open a new era in Pak-Sino relations.
He said that Pakistan has great geographical importance and Pak-China Economic Corridor will result in gigantic economic development in Pakistan, he added.
