ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that the government was fully focused on resolving the issues of national importance.
He said the PML-N government was utilizing all resources to make Pakistan a stronger and prosperous country and stressed that their intentions were noble with a firm resolve.
The Prime Minister was chairing a high level meeting at the PM House, which reviewed overall political situation in the country.
The Prime Minister told the participants that record development had always taken place during the tenures of PML-N and such a process was still going on.
He reiterated that the government was taking all steps necessary to tackle energy crisis during its tenure, said a press release.
The Prime Minister asked the PML-N leaders, particularly the ministers, to play their role in providing maximum relief to the people.
On the occasion, Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar briefed the meeting about the ongoing talks with the PTI.
Other participants included Leader of the House Raja Zafar ul Haq, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid, Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique, Minister for Petroleum Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt, Minister of State for Information and Technology Ms. Anusha Rehman, Special Assistants to the PM Barrister Zafarullah Khan and Khawaja Zaheer Ahmad, Senator Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Zahid Hamid MNA and Political Secretary to PM Dr Asif Kirmani.
