KARACHI: Karachi University (KU) on Wednesday canceled admissions of 11 students to its different degree level courses, evening programme-2015, under charges of forgery, said Director Admissions, Prof. Khalid Iraqi.
Mark sheets submitted by these students were found to be forged or fake during verification by Karachi Board of Intermediate Education hence leading to cancellation of their admission, he said in a statement.
Prof. Khalid Iraqi said admissions have been canceled of Shakil Rais (Commerce Department), Umais Ahmad Yousufi (Computer Science Department). Sana Yaqoob (Economics Department),Ali Hamza (Food Science and Technology), Hammad Sidiqui (Mathematical Sciences) and Zubair Iqbal (Sociolgy Department).
Admissions of Usama Riaz, Dania Zahid, Irtiza Siddiqui, Wajahat Ali and Zarbab Ahmad from KU Business School have also been annuled.
