ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif Thursday said that Pakistan was doing its best to resolve Yemen and Saudi Arabia issue through dialogue.
Talking to media at the Parliament Lobby, he said that the government was contacting the heads of other Muslim countries so that the issue could be settled down peacefully.
The Iranian foreign minister’s visit to Pakistan was a positive sign in that matter, he added.
Regarding overseas Pakistanis in Yemen, he said that the maximum number of Pakistani expatriates had returned through different scheduled flights of PIA.
He expressed the hope that Yemen and Saudi Arabia issue would be resolved within two days.
