ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, while addressing the joint-session of Parliament on Tuesday said that Pakistan has made the bond stronger with China, Aaj News reported.
The prime minister said this in a reply to Chinese President Xi Jinping statement where he referred to Pakistan as an ‘iron brother’.
Nawaz Sharif further added that Pakistan will fight along with China to eradicate the terrorism from this reigon.
Xi Jinping’s was praised for his historic visit to Pakistan as he showed solidarity with the people of Pakistan.
On a related note, PM Nawaz said that Pak-China Economic Corridor will benefit both countries as they build an economic relationship, He also thanked the Chinese President for accepting and supporting the projects, including the power generation projects.
The PM concluded his speech with a poem by Allama Iqbal, which shows the importance of relations within the eastern nations.
