Riyadh: Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud-al-Faisal said that there is no love lost between Iran and Saudi Arab though on Sunday Saudi Arab asked Iran to stop bracing the rebels in Yemen, Aaj News reported.
The Saudi FM made it clear in a press conference with the French FM Laurent Fabius that, there is no hostile situation with Tehran unless Iran thinks of declaring Yemen a part of it. Al Faisal on a related note asked the Officials in Tehran to stop supporting the rebels in Yemen by delivering arms and ammunitions.
The French FM on his visit met the Saudi officials and offered French support to resolve Yemen’s crisis.
He also added that Saudi officials have showed their intentions towards the peaceful solution of the ongoing crisis restoring the rule of law in its neighboring Yemen.
On March 23 Saudi and its allied countries carried out airstrikes against the progressing Houthi rebels who took over the capital of Sanaa in September, later they expanded their operation in different parts of Yemen.
