KARACHI: The Sind Police Crime Branch will interrogate former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza today, Aaj News reported.
According to Crime Branch’s senior superintendent police, Mirza has been asked to show up at 7pm this evening, for further investigation.
He added that a written notice has been sent to Mirza. The court has ordered Mirza to cooperate with the investigation team.
The former home minister of Pakistan People’s Party applied for bail in the Sindh High Court against four registered cases in Model Police Station. The court granted him protective bail till May 6.
Zulfiqar Mirza and his supporters attacked Model Police Station in Badin over the arrest of his men. He caused havoc and verbally abused police officials.
Mirza’s wife, former national assembly member Fahmida Mirza asked the court to provide protection to her husband.
