MUMBAI: Indian government gave a go-ahead to the India-Pakistan cricket series that is to be held in the United Arab Emirates this year, Aaj News reported.
Hard work finally paid off for Shahryar Khan, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board as the ice is finally melting.
Khan met Arun Jaitley, Indian finance minister. After this meeting the idea of a Pakistan vs India cricket series was accepted.
Jaitley thought that the cricket board from both countries should agree to begin their tournament.
The arch rivals, India and Pakistan will face each other in a unilateral series after eight long years.
Pakistan will play with India in three test matches, five one day and two T20 matches in December 2015.
