ISLAMABAD: Burhan Muhammad, Indonesian Ambassador who was injured in the helicopter crash at the Naltar Valley died today, Aaj News reported.
Muhammad suffered from 70 percent burn injuries. He succumbed to his wounds.
The ambassador was under treatment at a hospital in Singapore.
The tragedy took place when a MH-17 helicopter crashed in Naltar area of Gilgit on May 8, Friday. At least eight people were killed in the air crash.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Indonesia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Burhan Muhammad, who passed away in a Singapore hospital few hours ago.
