WEB DESK: In the match between Pakistan and Zimbabwe two 19-year olds are making their debut.
Opener Nauman Anwar and former under-19 captain Imad Wasim will be playing for the first time for the national team.
Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Sami, Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti and Hammaz Azam are making their return to the squad.
The revival of cricket in Pakistan also caused the revival of players as Shoaib Malik former all-rounder captain and fast bowler Mohammad Sami have been recalled to join the team green for two T20’s against Zimbabwe.
Sami’s entry came as a surprise for many because the last time he played for Pakistan was in June 2012 against Sri Lanka. Recently he took six wickets in three matches in the Super8 T20 competition which took place in Faisalabad.
Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti and Hammad Azam also returned to the squad, while Saad Nasim, Imran Khan and Haris Sohail were dropped. Junaid Khan and Sohail Tanveer are also excluded from the team.
Saeed Ajmal was unable to perform well against Bangladesh and so has been dropped. Sohaib Maqsood and Sohail Khan are out with an injury.
