LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has demanded of the Prime Minister to tender an apology over his remarks against MQM, Aaj News reported.
Altaf urged Nawaz Sharif to be careful full in choosing words.
Earlier in the day, the prime minister remarked about the strikes in Karachi, saying that a protest strike is called in Karachi ‘even when a fly dies’. He asked Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad to try to reduce the number of such strikes in the Metropolis.
Altaf Hussain said he expects his workers would not forget the word “fly”.
Altaf Hussain said that he was not opposed to Nawaz Sharif. “I am trying to figure out names of those who complained to prime minister”, Hussain added.
