LAHORE: Key leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party in Punjab have decided to join Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Aaj News reported.
PPP leaders Samsam Bukhari, Ashraf Sohna and Tariq Anis will meet Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf cheif Imran Khan today.
The digruntled PPP leaders are not happy with the current policy of the party, sources said.
The formal announcement of their joining will come after their meeting with Amir Khan.
The PPP is in a tight mess after the DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar accused its leaders of being involved in a Rs230 billion corruption case.
The FIA has launched an investigation into these claims.
Several leaders of the PPP have fled the country following the furore.
