PESHAWAR: The provincial budget for the year 2015-16 is scheduled to be presented today in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Aaj News reported.
An expected total outlay of the budget is Rs 483billion.
The budget will be presented by KP Minister for Finance Muzafar in the assembly session.
According to the sources, the provincial government has set aside Rs 25billion for district governments.
The development programme also includes Rs33bn in foreign aid.
For education, the provincial government is proposing to set aside over Rs 15billion, which is 21 percent greater than the allocation last year.
A 19 percent increase is being proposed for health expenditure.
