ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will visit Tajikistan tomorrow on Tuesday at the invitation of Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, the PM will lead Pakistan’s delegation to the International Conference on the Implementation of the International Decade for Action, Water for Life, 2005-2015.
He will be accompanied by the Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz reportedly.
The Conference is being hosted by Tajikistan in pursuance of a resolution of the UN General Assembly. The Conference will review status of implementation of the objectives of the Decade, including the implementation of water-related internationally agreed goals.
PM Nawaz Sharif will also conduct meeting with the important political figures of Tajikistan.
