ISLAMABAD: Sialkot being the backbone of Pakistan Exports Industry, needs special attention of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to address various issues of the city based exporters, said S.M. Muneer, Chief Executive of the authority.
He stated this during his visit of TDAP to Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry along with senior officials.
Prominent exporters and office bearers of Sialkot Chamber, Sports Goods Association, Surgical Instruments Association and Gloves Association also met S.M. Muneer, Chief Executive TDAP.
They included Fazal Jailani President Sialkot Chamber, Muhammad Younas Chairman Gloves Association and Tahir Ashfaque Chairman Surgical Association, Sh. Riaz, Group Leader of Sialkot Exporters, and Khurram Aslam, Chairman Exhibition and Delegation Directorate of SCCI.
Various issues including participation in International premier trade shows like ISPO – 2015 Germany, EICMA – 2015 Germany, EIMA – 2015 Germany, A+A Dusseldor of Germany, and other important fairs were discussed and both sides agreed to enhance as well as improve the participation of Pakistan in these fair.
Moreover, Chief Executive TDAP acceded to the request of Surgical Instruments Association delegation to South Africa, Gloves Association delegation to Poland, Sialkot Chamber delegation to USA to explore new markets and further penetrate our traditional markets of surgical and sports goods.
The Chief Executive TDAP encouraged the exporters to bring their export projects through their association in EDF board and TDAP will provide full support in the approval.
The President SCCI and Sh. Riaz group leader of Sialkot exporters thanked Chief Executive TDAP for visiting Sialkot and taking personal interest in resolving the problems of exporter of Sialkot.
