MULTAN: Multan Corps Commander Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad chaired a high level meeting to review security arrangements in the region.
According to ISPR press release issued here on Tuesday, the meeting was attended by divisional commissioners, Regional Police Officers, director special branch, Multan Director IB representatives and others from DG Khan and Sahiwal divisions.
The officers gave briefing about the security arrangements made by them in their respective fields.
The corps commander issued certain instructions and stressed upon continuity of success and promoting more mutual coordination.
He appreciated performance of intelligence agencies and urged for further improvement.
He also paid focus on security of Chinese, working in Multan, Sahiwal and DG Khan divisions. The meeting participants also reviewed overall situation of National Action Plan (NAP).
The Corps commander further stated that Pakistan Army would be alert to help civil administration in its efforts to maintain security.
