ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister has asked time to review a decision to form a committee to look into the grievances brought forward by a Muttahida Qaumi Movement delegation which met him today, Aaj News reported.
An MQM delegation has reached the Punjab House for a second round of talks.
The first round of talks led by JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman ended successfully on Monday.
The MQM delegation agreed to review the proposal to take back its resignations after it was decided that a team will monitor the Karachi operation.
Earlier, Muttahida Qaumi Movement parliamentarians had rendered their resignations from the senate, provincial and national assemblies, as they felt that their reservations with the Karachi operation were not being addressed.
The first resignation was handed out by Dr Farooq Sattar after which 23 other parliamentarians followed.
