ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Jamiat Ulema Islam has taken back the motion which called to deseat parliamentarians of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, Aaj News reported.
A delegation of the government had called MQM Chief Altaf Hussain to request him to take back the motion. After consulting with party leaders the MQM took back the motion, early Thursday morning.
Similarly Maulana Fazlur Rehman informed a government delegation that he will take back the motion as well.
In the past few day the JUI-F and MQM had submitted a motion asking the national assembly to deseat PTI parliamentarians for sabotaging the country by their 120 day protest on election rigging, the claims for which have been proven wrong by a judicial commission formed by the Supreme Court.
