ISLAMABAD: Renowned artist and human rights activist Jimmy Engineer Friday reiterated his commitment to continue efforts for promotion of soft image of Pakistan and its people among the comity of nations through his artistic works.
In a statement issued here, Jimmy said he had been engaged in various mission for last many years to promote and project the soft image of the country through his paintings and other social welfare projects.
He maintained that Pakistan was a peace loving country and its people were imbued with spirit of love, brotherhood, patriotism and they had cherished desire of living in peace and harmony with people of the region as well as the world over.
Jimmy Engineer reiterated that he had dedicated his artistic qualities and energies for enhancing the image of Pakistan within the country as well as abroad.
He said that as a committed social worker, he was ready to serve the suffering humanity at large in general and the special children in particular in order to improve their lot to the maximum extent possible.
He said last two years remained quite hectic for him as an artist as he had held seven international exhibitions during the time.
Jimmy said he had participated in group paintings exhibition with Pakistani artists in Jakarta, Indonesia, and with Indian artists in Dubai besides holding solo major shows of his creative work in Singapore, Bangkok , Thailand and Mississauga, Canada.
He said he has planned to organize more international art exhibitions abroad in next couple of months.
Jimmy said he had availed every opportunity while in these countries to promote and project soft, moderate, forward looking, peace loving and loveable Pakistan and its people.
