KARACHI: The sudden increase in temperature resulted in the death of a person due to heat stroke, Aaj News reported.
The victim, 33 year old Younis, fell down unconscious on the street near Qasba Mor, at Orangi Town. He breathed his last on his way to the hospital.
Forecasting dry and hot weather for Saturday, the Met Office said low winds are blowing from North West with 34 percent humidity in the air.
Following the heatwaves, Secretary Health, the Sindh government has declared an emergency in all the hospitals across Karachi.
The city was hit by its worst heatwave in July when 1200 people lost their lives to the heat.
