LAHORE: Under the watchful eye of Pak-Army, Election material for NA-122, PP-147 and NA-144 by polls was distributed to the polling staff, Aaj News reported.
According to the reports, delivery of ballot papers, ballot boxes and voter lists to the 284 polling stations for the by-election in Lahore began under the supervision of the Pakistan Army.
Reports claimed that of the 284 polling stations 16 will have booths for men and women while 134 have been designated for only men and the same number for women.
However, in Okara, the process began with some delay, first because the returning officer arrived late. Mismanagement of the system is also responsible for the delay.
Security at the polling stations will be enhanced tonight, reports claimed.
