WEB DESK:“It kind of ridicules our constitution; it shames the police and debunks our claim of being a democracy,” said veteran film director Mahesh Bhat, while talking about Shiv Sena and its recent outrage against Pakistan.
He openly criticized Shiv Sena for its anti-Pakistan attitude and become the part of the hottest discussion in the region.
“Instead of using this moment to create a further gap between the two nations, I would request the protesters to fall in line with what our forefathers fought for. In a country which has such diversity, the most important thing that we need to do is to fight for the right of somebody else to be different, which we are not doing,” he added.
However he is happy to know that many Indians have collectively condemned those shameful acts– the black ink attacks and the ban of Pakistani artists like the legendary ghazal singer of Pakistan, Ghulam Ali and actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan.
