WEB DESK: Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra has been accused of allegedly assaulting a woman in Bengaluru.
The allegedly assaulted woman stated to the police that she had gone to the hotel, where Mishra was staying to meet him.
She went into his room; however, he was not in the room at the time. He walked in a few minutes later and the two had a verbal argument.
During The fight Misrha allegedly assaulted her. Two days later she filed a complaint at Ashok nagar police station.
“We have filed an FIR (first information report) against Mishra on the basis of the complaint Vandana filed on September 27 and issued a notice asking him to appear before our investigating officer within a week,” Bengaluru Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil told reporters.
Explaining the charges, senior police said that the Indian cricketer Amit Mishra allegedly pushed the woman, twisted her finger and even tried to attack her with tea kettle.
However, The Bangaluru police has summoned Indian cricketer Amit mishra and directed him to appear within seven days regarding the case.
