WEB DESK: Sir Lanka’s experienced batsman Maleha Jayawardena has signed up for Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Wednesday.
PSL will feature five franchise-based teams from the provincial capitals – Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and Islamabad – with prize money of $1 million. The tournament is scheduled to run from February 4 to 24 in Dubai and Sharjah, and will feature 24 matches.
The Pakistan cricket board has signed more than a 100 famous cricketers like Chris Gayle, Jacques Kallis, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo and Kevin Pietersen.
The PCB will hold auction for the rights of five-franchise based teams in due course.
