LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf decided to re-adjust two seats including NA122, with Jamat-e-Islami on Monday, Aaj News reported.
The JI leaders decided to support PTI at the NA-122 and PA-147 seats, at a meeting held at the JI headquarters Mansura.
PTI leader, Chaudhry Sarwar said that the party which has most supporters will win the by-elections.
JI president Lahore, Amir Mian Maqsood said that his party stood for local governments. He wished the PTI candidate from NA-122 good luck.
An election tribunal (ET) on August 18 reserved its verdict about alleged rigging in the NA-122 elect constituency of National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had challenged the victory of Sardar Ayaz, claiming that the victory of the returned candidate was the outcome of mass rigging.
The PML-N decided to go for re-polls in the constituency. Re-polls are expected to take place on October 11.
