The polling will start at 7:30am and continue till 5:30pm without any break. The voters can cast votes on the computerized national identity cards.
Army will act as a quick response force on the polling day. The civil administration will primarily maintain law and order, and the army will be called in if a critical situation emerges.

Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan Babar Yaqoob said on Wednesday LG elections in 81 Union Councils (Ucs) had been postponed.
Talking to the media after attending a meeting to finalize the election arrangements, he said the election in all the 81 UCs had been postponed as per the directives of the Supreme Court.
He said the ECP had finalized all necessary administrative and security measures to ensure free,fair and transparent polling process.
He said the LG elections had been postponed in five mMunicipal Committees, 18 Town Committees and 58 Union Councils of different parts of Sindh.
He said that the decision to delay election was taken in the ECP’s meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Election Commissioner.
This constituencies included 24 UCs from Hyderabad division, 25 UCs from Mirpur Khas while 32 UCs of Benazirabad.
Election in these Union Councils and Municiple Committees will be held after third phase.
To a question, he said local government elections in Attock would be held in the month of December.
He said all the polling staff had been advised to cooperate with media.
