ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali Thursday said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was committed to restore peace in Karachi, the economic hub of the country and ongoing operation in the city was achieving its objectives successfully.
Talking to a news channel, he said all political parties had agreed to launch operation against criminal elements involved in destroying peace of the mega city.
He said Zarb-e-Azb and Karachi operations were being carried out to eliminate criminals and terrorists from the country.
Abid Sher said due to the effective measures taken by the incumbent government, the country was moving on the track to progress, development and prosperity.
He also said that international community was now acknowledging policies of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.
