WEB DESK: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday suggested that his ministry along with the Foreign Office and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) should devise a joint strategy to help Pakistanis living abroad in possible difficulties they may face in the aftermath of Paris terrorist attacks.
In a statement, the Interior Minister feared that Pakistani nationals may face difficulties aboard following recent terrorist attacks in Paris.
“Pakistanis living abroad are precious asset of the country and it is our collective responsibility to help them in the time of difficulties they may face,” he said.
Besides terrorists, he said that human traffickers are also bringing a bad name to the country. He also directed the FIA to expedite actions against human traffickers. In this regard, he instructed the agency to present a clear cut policy to the ministry in this regard in the next 48 hours. He further said that a high-level meeting will be held on Tuesday to discuss the situation and chalk out an effective strategy.
