The meeting being held in the Mediterranean island state on November 27-29 has this year’s theme as “Adding Global Value”.
The Prime Minister will join other world leaders arriving in the Maltese capital Valletta at the Summit that would discuss issues of violent extremism, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and migration.
The leaders will also elect the new Secretary General of CHOGM for the next four year term.
The Prime Minister will attend a banquet hosted by the British Queen and another banquet by the Prime Minister of Malta.
On the sidelines of the Summit, the Prime Minister will also meet several world leaders to discuss bilateral and global issues.
Pakistan is one of the eight founding members of the Commonwealth, and is enhancing its relations with the organization.
