KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar on Sunday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) were afraid of defeat in upcoming local bodies elections in Karachi and were finding excuses to delay the elections, Aaj News reported.
“Attack on Rangers is conspiracy to delay elections. On the other hand, the MQM activists working for elections campaign are being arrested, which is affecting election campaign activities,” he said while talking to media at Nine Zeo.
The MQM leader said the election campaign for the third phase of LB elections was being intensified. MQM would give surprise and achieve historic win in the LB polls on 5th Dec.
