WEB DESK: The movie is still a month ahead before its most anticipated 2016 release and it is already crashing the records. ‘Star Wars’ made a record breaking advance ticket sale of $50 million, Variety reported.
The picture is the biggest pre-seller in the history of the ticketing company, trumping the first “Hunger Games.”, Variety alleges.
Pundits are already predicting that “The Force Awakens” will sprint past the $208.8 million earned by “Jurassic World’s” debut to score the biggest opening in history.
It is predicted that the movie will be on at least 4,000 theaters in US only.
